A renewed cult conflict within the weekend has reportedly claimed five lives, including the two folks killed in Auchi, Etsako West regional executive area (LGA) when two suspected rival cult organizations clashed. A 53-yr-old, Peter Nielsen, who allegedly killed his wife, Zainab, and her three-yr-old daughter, Petra,was once on Wednesday remanded in Ikoyi Prisons on the orders of a cheif judge in Yaba Magistrates court , Lagos.
Nielsen, a Danish citizen, is being tried on a two-rely cost bordering on homicide.
The prosecutor, CSP Effiong Asuquo, told the courtroom that the accused committed the offences on April 5 at his house at Block 4, Flat 17,Bella Vista Tower, Banana Island, Ikoyi.
He alleged that the accused killed his spouse, Zainab, 37, and her daughter, Petra, within the condominium.
