IPOB slams Sheik Argungu, raises alarm on alleged danger to Biafrans, Northern Christians, non-Hausa Fulanis

•Sheik Abubakar Gero Argungu The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described a statement credited to Sheik Abubakar Gero Argungu, Sawtul Hikmah , on March 9, 2018 as a danger to Biafrans and Christian populations in the North, as well as to non-Hausa Fulani ethic nationalities. IPOB quoted Sheik Argungu as saying: “He is with us and believes in our cause. Every Muslim in Nigeria must be ready. Three Suicide bombers kill selves in Maiduguri – NEMA

File photo The National Emergency Management Agency has confirmed the death of three suicide bombers at Muna area of Maiduguriin an attempt to infiltrate the town on Friday. Reports confirms that four powerful explosions occurred between 9: 00 and 9: 30 pm, sending terrifying echoes to many parts of the town. NEMA’s Northeast Zonal Coordinator, Mr Bashir Garga, who confirmed the incident, said that the blast occurred outside the town. Garga disclosed that the suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Devices strapped to their bodies behind the security trench at Muna Garage area in the outskirts of Maiduguri. He said that terrifying echoes by the explosions caused some residents of the area to flee which made them to sustain injuries. Delta traditional ruler sentenced to death

Chief Newton Agbofodo, the embattled community head of Ekpan, Uvwie Council Area of Delta State, has been sentenced to death. Agbofodoh, one of the highest ranking chiefs of Uvwie Kingdom, was arrested on June 17, 2016, and was later arraigned in court for crimes bordering on murder. He was sentenced by the Delta State High Court 4, in Asaba, after being found guilty of all four count charges preferred against him. He was sentenced to death by hanging. Charges preferred against him were conspiracy to commit murder, the substantial offence of murder, conspiracy to commit attempted murder and an attempted murder. He was alleged to have been linked to series of killings within Ekpan and its environs, including the murder of one Edigbe Ikpesa sometime in October 2012. He was also implicated in the Delta Mall robbery/wanton destruction in January, 2016.

Notorious Woman Known For Beating Men Arrested After Knocking Another Man Out In Lagos

A 52-year old woman, Ozioma Ezeugwa displayed her boxing prowess in Lagos by beating a man, Mr. Onuzulike Chukwujekwu and knocked him down in a public brawl. Buhari: Fani-Kayode attacks Tinubu over comment on Obasanjo

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has attacked a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for describing former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter to President Muhammadu Buhari as nothing but “bad belle.” Tinubu had while speaking on the 10th Colloquium to mark his 66th birthday in Lagos yesterday said Obasanjo’s letter to Buhari was borne out of jealousy.
